While studying in Hawaii, I was up-close and personal with the plastic pollution that most of us hear about, but never fully witness. Over three years, I watched as single-use plastic increasingly crowded the gorgeous beaches and harmed the sea life that I loved so much. This set me on a journey to reduce my environmental impact, and after a little research, I started with my shampoo.

I tried countless shampoo bar brands, but none of them brought me the joy or results that my liquid shampoo did. I decided to make the product that I felt was missing from the store shelves. One that reflected my values and personality. One that didn’t sacrifice quality and experience for sustainability. And thus, Flora Flora was born.
